Joe Mazzulla had a short, yet efficient, post-game press conference following the Boston Celtics' 98-96 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.
The Pacers, who sit dead last in the Eastern Conference, beat the Celtics on a late bucket by Pascal Siakam following a questionable non-call.
After the game, Mazzulla used the same two words to answer all six questions he was asked: "Illegal screen."
Toward the end of the fourth quarter, Siakam set a screen at the top of the three-point line before getting the ball back and scoring. There was some clear contact on Boston's Derrick White, but the referees never blew the whistle.
It marks the second time this week that the Celtics have vocalized their problems with the league's officiating.
Earlier Monday, Celtics star Jaylen Brown was fined $35,000 for harsh comments following his team's 100-95 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.
"It's the same s--- every time we play a good team, it's like they refuse to make a call," Brown told reporters. "... And that's just extremely frustrating. ... Every time we play a good team, the inconsistency is crazy.
"I'll take the f------ fine. Curtis, all them dudes were terrible tonight. I don't care, they can fine me whatever they want. It's crazy, every time we play a good team it's the same bulls---."
The Spurs were awarded 20 free throws on Saturday, while the Celtics only got to the line four times. Brown didn't get a single free-throw attempt, but still managed to score 27 points in the loss.
Boston has now lost its last two games, and will look to end the short losing skid when it heads to Miami to face the Heat on Thursday.
